Search this MJ forum for "911 test" and other variations and you'll see that other people have tested 911 and it worked. And where it didn't work for other people. Also that 911/e911 will send emergency services to your registered address so beware if you travel.

As for the popup (I think that's what you mean by shared user, it would have helped if you summarized that other long post), people put their MJ on a thin client, old laptop or some other seldom used PC so it's not an issue. Or you can check out this advice

tony, sorry, I would've posted last night, but I'd been logged off for some reason. My thread title was cut off for some inexplicable cause even though it fit into the field as I had shortened it. It should've continued, "Data". I was referring to the third paragraph, where he complains of distribution of personal info to other customers. His Aug. 30, 2008 review might be out of date. I can tell you he's wrong about punching numbers into your bank, etc., as I call a weather number with a menu all the time and others even more involved. The author might be reachable still. I wasn't worried about the popup but will check on 911.
