MJ not Working (PC Can Receive Calls, but phone cant)

This is my last resort, I've spent hours online chatting with the MJ reps, they have given me every possible scenario and nothing has worked. My problem is, When I receive calls, MJ just picks it up on the pc, not my phone. And before you guys start yelling at me, yes I am not on headset, I am on telephone and my magic jack is plugged into a usb port and to my phone is connected into my magic jack

Have you tried MJ on another computer? Also don't use the short extension cord because it can cause many problems. Also use a Rear USB port (it makes a difference). If that doesn't work, you should buy a USB powered hub. If that doesn't work, you could have a defective dongle. Hope these tips help.

I am having the same issue with mine. The magicjack is my secondary phone line so I don't use it real often. It had been working fine, till around the same time this was posted I made a phone call from my pc. Ever since then, the only way it will work is through the pc. When I try to use the handset, the number dials, then immediately goes to dial tone. The same when I try to answer with the phone - it rings, then just dial tone. It still works fine on the pc, but that isn't convenient. I tried to uninstall then reinstall magicjack, but that didn't seem to have any affect. I'm just trying to find a way to get it back to using the phone. I do not have another computer to try it with, and I have tried and made sure of all of the connections.
