Globesurfer III & Majicjack

I have a Globesurfer III (Options-vip) with my SIM card connected in it. I access the internet through this device using my SIM card, so basically on a cell phone network. I have the majicjack and plug it into my PC using the cell phone internet connection. Is there a way to hear clearly using the majicjack and the Globesurfer III using my SIM card as the internet connection. I can call out and hear the other phone ring, but it is very choppy. I know they have VoiP phones that can use a cell 3G network, how can I use the majicjack, the Globesurfer III and my SIM card as the internet connection? Can anyone help? Is there an adapter to use? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Wireless broadband, which is the generic description for cellular based internet is notorious for having high latency, packet loss and high jitter, any one of which can be deleterious to a voip connection.
Try the test here and your worst fears will be substantiated
http://voiptest.nuvio.com/ and a version here that will let you specify the location of the test server. Choose a server near your MJ gateway location

If your phone's OS is supported you may want to try the free smartphone app at http://www.nettalk.com/smartphone

Both these apps will give you a new phone number that you can use as a target to forward your MJ number

MJ is promising a similar smartphone app but don't hold your breath!

None of these will approach perfection as, in general, wireless broadband is always going to be the weak link in the VOIP equation and is totally beyond your control

BTW, are you in the boonies where cable or dsl internet is not available.
What are the results like from the test sites?
If your internet sucks, NO VOIP solution is going to provide results that are acceptable for VOIP

They are actual programs that run on your smartphone. They will create a visual representation of a keypad on your screen and you dial from there.
They may/maynot integrate with your existing cellphone phonebook
You will make voip calls via your smartphone and MJ be damned!
If you still expect calls to your MJ number, fwd your MJ number, using tools at my.magicjack.com to designate your MJ calls to be forwarded to one of your newly acquired numbers.
Calls you make from the nettalk softphone apps will show crazy info as your caller-id info on the receiving phone while whistle will show your whistle number. In no event will you be able to modify what shows on their caller-id, so some folks may refuse your call since they don't recognize the number. Such is life.

B careful as both the apps mentioned use your cellphone data service to send the call to the respective voip server. Actually this helps you avoid using precious cell voice minutes.
