i bought 2 unit of majicjack last time i visited NY. now i used the first one - it worked perfect around 2-3 minths - and than didnt (off course that i payed for a U.S phone # for few years in advanced). i replaced it with the other unit i had but the unit does not work well. it is connectetd to a landline regular phone and the volume is very low.
offcourse i did the followings:
- I tried to use other phones (more than 3 diffrent phones) and the problem remain.
- I moved the dungle to another usb slot.
- I tried to use it on another computer.
- I tried the majicjack costumer care page hoping to find a solution there or some kind of support - but there was no solution or someone to ask from.
but the problom of low volume is still there. who can give me a good advice? wgi will help me- i live outside of U.S and need to speak with my family.

Re: volume issues
Goto MJ softphone, click on the Menu goto Volume/headset control, sivan wrote: but the problom of low volume is still there.
make sure Telephone is checked, then adjust your speaker and microphone levels, you might have to play with them a bit to get just right.
Also check all you "sound" controls in control pannel and system devices.

YES, check your mixer control panel WHILE your MJ is on a call (I use the test # 909-390-0003, works great for testing all problems)..In W7, there "should" be a volume control now for a telephone icon..just move it up to max, and your volume should be increased, and stay there, whereas using the volume control in the MJ gui will increase the volume as well, once rebooted, it will have to be increased EVERY time till next reboot
good luck!!!
