Issues Pulling Password

Post by nebusoku »

I have Magicjack that was recently updated to version 2.0.8 and I have done sipdump and the perl script to pull the password and i get 2 passwords and they are consistantly the same between moving the unit between differerent machines but when I put the info in mjmd5 and then test with x-lite i get either a 401 error or a 408 error.

I have done a full debug log on the x-lite if needed.

I am wanting to move my account to run on a PAP2T and I have already run spaconf on it so that it is ready once i get the information correct.

Any help or things to try in order to get this working.

So are you saying that the passwords aren't changing anymore? If that's the case, then third party software or even an ATA should work. ATAs stopped working when MJ went to their rotating passwords.

I'm living in hope here that I'll be able to go back to an ATA since it sounds SO much better than those crappy little dongles.

I wonder if magicjack has changed the authentication based on the MagicJack Plus requirements?
