What to do with old MJ?

Hey all,
My first year with MJ is almost up and I just noticed that they now have MJ+ which sounds great because of the added volume it's suppose to have and the fact I dont need to plug it into the PC and have it running non-stop, and also deal with the software not loading all the time and not recognizing it.

Anyway, what do you all do with your old MJ, besides throw it away?
Can you hack it so you can still use it and not pay for service? Or what else can you do?

you can use it with Skype at lest with windows 7 just when u plug it in don't let MJ start up and it will work good with that software. With XP there use to be a driver u downloaded but i don't know if it will work now

Nice, I'm using Windows 7. Is there a site with directions on how to setup all this or is it just straight forward? I've never used Skype before.

there info on this site just got to look for it but it not that hard as Skype will use the mj as a sound card you just have to tern off mj if it pop up and leve it plugged in and when u make a call on Skype u can pick up the phone and talk there my even be away to get it to dial but i don't know how to do that just do a search on here and even Google
