Time and date are incorrect on MagicJack Plus!

Can anyone please help me? I set the date and time manually on my phone but as soon as i get a call it changes to 01/01 and some weird time. Is there anything I can do to fix this? i would like the time on the caller id to be correct.

Plug MJ/MJP into power outlet at exactly 12AM (midnight) and leave plugged-in.

Plugging-in at midnight will resolve the time issue but not the date issue.
