Cannot call MJ from A Skype Account?

Canned message states, "Cannot complete call, Caller ID is being blocked, etc."

an update has been made in magicjack's system, you cannot call a magicjack phone number if you do not have a 10 digit phone number or phone numbers who hide their numbers from appearing on the caller ID

So any "private" call into my magicJack will not go through?

It's true. I *67 called my MJ from my cell. I was given a nice, short ADVERTISEMENT. Oddly is was for magicTALK and not magicJack or the Plus. It directed me to magictalk.com, which still just takes you to magicjack.com. After the ad, I was informed my call could not be completed because of the caller ID being blocked. Gotta love this company.

Nice. Although I don't answer blocked calls as a rule, this somehow rankles me. Every time I read a post like this, I'm glad I didn't renew.

I'm not sure what this policy is meant to accomplish. With MJ being an unlisted number I don't think I've received any unwanted blocked calls on it anyway.

I do have a relative that calls with a blocked number but that's done for a specific reason. I suppose I could give him my GoogleVoice number, but that is totally inoperable at this point. In trying to fix it I deleted my MJ number and now it won't let me verify it.
