choppy voice

Why do I get choppy voice when calling other M J owners?

Try using the air card setting in the upper left corner of the dialer screen. Let us know what happens.

I just started having the same problem.Strange but changing the setting to air card worked.Perfect sound again.Thanks to you.
What does that setting change in the system?

From what I can tell, it makes MJ use a different codec that either doesn't require as much CPU or uses less bandwidth. From what I have seen, I believe it is the CPU not getting maxed out that removes the choppiness. I don't really hear any reduction in voice quality when using it either.
