MJ in Germany calling to US ? can it be done ? and How ?

I have mj and a neighbour asked about this in which I have no idea

Subject:
Can you use MJ to call someone in Germany ?

Notes:
I see calls to US and Canada, also incoming from other countries but no outgoing to those other countries.
However, what about an MJ in Germany with a US mj number ? or something ?
I mean what happens when you take MJ with you to another country ? does it still work for incoming calls and outgoing calls as it should normally ?
Or does being in Germany somehow change the way MJ works over the net ?

Yes it still works just like it does in the US and can make and receive calls unless the country it is located in blocks VOIP calls.

If you have good Internet service you will be amazed what you can do with a MJ. somewhere in this forum is a list of countries where MJ has worked good.

would just like to add, AFAIK, so long as your net connection can download/upload at 15kb/s (that's really slow btw), and not blocked by the ISP, you can use MJ from damn near anywhere in the world with the US Number.
Lots of service members use MJ all over the world; I've used it in Korea, Bahrain and currently use it in Afghanistan ;p
Even if voip is blocked, you can always VPN to unblock it.

Yes should work like normal as long as internet connection is good with no blocks. This is the beautiful thing about the product. MJ+ doesn't need a computer and you can bring it with you just about anywhere (very portable). And you don't need to bring a phone with you either. Some people use the phone in their hotel room, or at their end destination.
