Does an Original MJ work with the MJ+ AC adapter?

Is it possible to use my original MJ with the new MJ+ adapter? I'd like to just purchase an adapter if that's even possible or maybe sell the MJ part of the new device and just use the adapter.

you cant use the mj+ power adapter with your old mj because the old mj was not made to be used with that adapter also it need a computer to work .it wold be good to get the mj+ if you wold like to use the mj service with out a computer
