Router does not show MJ

Post by IvanJ »

My router has a section called DHCP Client List and the MJ was listed as (null) and then the Mac Code. This is typical of many devices that do not allow you to name them.

I get N/A ... but I have 3 of them ... lol ... so no idea which one ...

Just don't feel like removing one at a time but I guess I will have to do so ... or just remove the jack I guess and refresh ...

thanks ...

Many routers keep their client table for a considerable time period. Do a power cycle or hit the reset button on the back to clear it.

MJ MAC Code

You should have a Reboot Router selection within the router access that will clear the Client List of all but those connected.

I did but no change unless it thinks it is an andriod as that was the only thing that fell off the list ...

I plugged it back in and nothing changed ...

Go to your router and look for DHCP Client table or something to that effect, dchp clients. and look for the MAC Address starting with : 6C:33:A9:XX:XX

That is your Magicjack!

I added mine to DMZ because of dropped calls.
