How do I get my phone #, and can I change it later to my own phone #?

You need to register your new MJ in order to be given a number ( plug it into your USB port). Then yes after you are sure it all works you can then port your landline number ( if that is what you wish) over to your MJ ( at a cost of course).
If you currently have an older MJ and number, when you register you will be given the option of using that same number with your new MJ.
