I checked on the Obi forum, some folks were having problems after the latest firmware download, but I don't think this is the same issue.
I'm really not sure if it's the Obi, Google Voice, Nettalk or a combination of all. I was trying to call a South Carolina number, area code 864 via Net Talk line on Obi, a message of unknown to me origin says that the number is no longer in service. On one occasion the recording said that the company I was trying to call was no longer in business and to consult yellowpages.com (wtf???). Yhe number is definitely valid. Does Net Talk restrict some phone numbers?
Next, I tried one of my Google Voice number, the first several times, it flat out did nothing, then a recording, again of unknown to me origin, stated that the number was restricted by service provider for reason 503.
I did manually reset the Obi a couple of times with mixed results Net Talk still gives me the recorded message, but the Google numbers seem to ring thru.
Is anyone else having problems with their Obi ?

I got a wierd Number Not In Service Message around 9am today when I called my mom this morning, but I tried it again right away and it went through just fine...
I didnt think anything of it till after I read your message here.
Thankfully I have had no other problems today. Let's hope it is only a fluke.. Time will tell as well as the OBi forum as we will surely read more about it there if it becomes widespread
