I have a Canon MX780 MultiFunctionPrinter and I recently encountered problems faxing to my home office and also to my bank. I would get an error: FAX INFO DOES NOT MATCH and the TX would terminate. On another board I saw a tip to
SETUP | DEVICE SETTINGS | FAX SETTINGS | TRANSMISSION SETTINGS | CHECK RX FAX INFORMATION = OFF
That solved the problem for me.
