Multiple phones
Is anyone using 2, or more phones connected to a MJ plus. I was thinking of hooking up all the phones in my house.

Been discussed here MANY times ( search is your friend).krieg wrote:Is anyone using 2, or more phones connected to a MJ plus. I was thinking of hooking up all the phones in my house.
The easiest way is to use a cordless base with multi handsets ( I have used up to 3 at a time and other have used more). You can also hook up the line out of your MJ ( the one which usually goes to the phone) to a wall jack. The combo REN of your house phones will determine how many will ring. THAT BEING SAID, be sure to disconnect the Tel Co feed from the box outside to your home first, or you will fry your MJ.

Yes, I'm sure it has, but my queries came up with zilch. Being that the MJ+ is new, I figured this was the best route. Thank you for the information friend.bitstopjoe wrote:Been discussed here MANY times ( search is your friend).krieg wrote:Is anyone using 2, or more phones connected to a MJ plus. also, if you are switching from another VOIP service (COMCAST?) make sure you unplug the phone line going into the cable modem. otherwise the house phones will not ring.
