Does caller ID work outbound even when overseas?

Hello everyone - I am currently overseas for an extended period of time and would definitely benefit from having not only a US number to receive calls, but more importantly a US number to *show* when I make calls to the US.

So I read in the FAQs that my magicjack number will be displayed on outbound calls, but is this only if I have a US telephone line? I am in Europe and I haven't yet made my purchase of the magicjack, but presumably I will plug it into the Internet connection, not the local telephone line correct? My question is - when plugged in, will people in the US see a US telephone number when I call them yes or no? I have problems with people not picking up the phone in the US because they don't recognize the number when I call them via Google Talk, or SkypeOut, etc. Thank you for the help!!

Yes when you get your MJ and register it and choose a USA area code and number, whomever you call from wherever you are, will see that number.

Also when they call you they are calling a USA number, and if your number is local to theirs is just a local call for them. You can be anywhere in the world ( other than countries who block VOIP) and you will get their call on your USA number.
