uniden cordless & mj+

Post by playintennis5274 »

hello.. new member.. my parents have a uniden cordless system w/ mj+ the base unit is corded, and plugged into mj+, which is plugged into my moms laptop. they have i think 4 handsets throughout the house, the closest is only 5' away from the base. only the base wil work. when u press talk on the handsets, it sounds like someone has left a phone off the hook somewhere in the house. thats it.. no dialton , no nothing.. can someone please give me some kinda info ? ? thank you

You need to make sure that the base phone of your cordless is connected to the MJ device directly and not to the wall jack anymore.

It is.. the base is plugged into mj+ , & mj+ is plugged into my moms laptop. The base unit works fine w/ mj+... its the remote handsets that are not working properly..

Try taking each remote and place them in the base station one at a time. Maybe they need to be recoded to the base station for some reason.
