Bluetooth mic does not work with android app

HTC Incredible, gingerbread 2.3.5 with Motorola HX1 bluetooth

My bluetooth mic does not work with android app. Speaker works, but not the mic. In other words, I can hear the other party but they can't hear me. Strange...I would assume it either supports bluetooth or it does not all together. Not this strange mixture of bluetooth speaker working but not mic. Anyone else having this issue?

Should have tried this first... repairing it got it to work. Mic works now, but it sounds awful. Normally, this bluetooth is extremely clear with phone and other voips. There are no settings in this app to increase or decrease mic sensitivity (or speaker). This is a must!

It sounds like there is a noise cancellation setting in the app and it ends up chopping up my speech via bluetooth. Its as if someone was turning the mic volume on and off as I'm speaking vs. not speaking, but not quite getting it right.

this may the problem of system settings so check it properly or you should contact with the customer care for this voice issue.

Unpairing and re-pairing it fixed it for me.
