This Forum Lags

Is it me or does this forum lag like hell, i mean sometimes it takes forever to load and sometimes when i click on a link or press submit to post, i get redirected to http://makeforum.org/home.php... the adverts are annoying.

The forum needs a new host (hint to the admins)

I aggree....but if the forum gets moved then all the posts will be gone.... (and yes i am sure you can not import/export the posts/users)

If I were to guess, I'd say that their servers are just overloaded.

This forum is hosted on a free service along side a bunch of other forums.
I posted in the support forum complaining about this issue. Hopefully, the makeforum.org folks put some more horsepower behind their forum software...

You have to evaluate cost vs. value and make a decision as to whether or not you should take your business to another vendor.

This forum is faster now. As long as this forum is working fast, I see no need to switch to another service for our forum.

I know I didn't pay a lot to join this forum and haven't been pestered with pop-up ads and such, so there's not too much to complain about.
