I just bought a regular magic jack. Can I make and receive calls when my xp is on standby mode? Thanks! Happy New Year!!! :D

don't think so, takes too long to get up and running from standby - maybe unless you have a super speed pc

Thank you! I found out my xp will not go into standby with this loaded. I am trying to figure out how to completely remove it. Already did so through add/remove programs. :D

Whenever your XP is on standby mode, all of your USB hub will save power. It will cut the power that the mj device uses and the mj device will no longer function. I suggest you turn off the power saving mode of the USB hub.
