Does your MJ+ faxing capabilities work?

According to the official MJ+ website FAQ;

Question:

Can I send and receive faxes using magicJack?


Answer:

It should work fine.

Plug your fax machine into your magicJack, just as you would normally connect your fax machine to your telephone jack.

IMPORTANT!! If your magicJack is connected to your computer, make sure that "Normal (Hi-Speed)" is selected. Your fax machine will not work if you have selected "Air Card (3G)".



I have researched some of the previous threads on this forum and it seems that different makes/models of fax machines work and some don't work.



I have an HP all-in-one fax machine and I have used the test fax function and it "passed." However, I have never actually sent or received a real fax transmission. Also, on youtube there is a video of a person sending a 1 page document using his MJ (first generation) to his email/pdf and only half of the page appears. I'm now worried that my faxing capabilities may not be actually working as it appears with my MJ+. Can others confirm that faxing works fine with the MJ+?

Alright, thanks for the advice. I sent a one page test fax to that number, set my fax to auto-on, and this is the fax I got from HP.
