Magicjack App use overseas

I am about to take a trip from the US to Mexico and Jamaica and currently use the MJ APP on my android phone - just using the "not registered" version on it, despite having MJ plus at home, just to keep it simple. What are the chances that it will work properly in these places, given a decent wifi signal and access to the web ? Any issues I need to make myself familiar with to use this service on my cell in these places ?

As you have already learned by reading the other discussions on this subject, it all depends upon the WiFi access point you will be using. If bandwidth is limited you may have choppy voice. If bandwidth is very limited, your host may inhibit streaming services, which would include MJ. That notwithstanding, I have rarely had trouble using a VoIP client at a hotel I have visited.
