Magic Jack iPhone app calling Magic Jack

I have a Magic Jack on my house phone and one my iPhone and my iPad. When I try to call between any of these I get the following message: The Magic Jack number you are trying to reach cannot be reached unless that number calls you first.

In other words my house phone needs my iPhone/iPad to call it first before it will be allowed to answer the call.

Of course this cannot be done since they are all Magic Jacks. Any of them can be reached from an outside number that is not a Magic Jack of course. Is there no way I can call between these devices. This means if I am out somewhere I cannot call home with my Magic Jack which was a big part of the reason for this setup in the first place.

One glitch I think might be that the iPhone and the iPad both have the same telephone number but not the same Magic Jack numbers.

Anyone able to shed some light on this for my?
