Son is stationed in Germany and has had MJ for years and it seems to work well, so yesterday I bought one for my daughter. Here is my story and my problems.
I plugged the MJ into my computer and registered it and made several phone calls and it worked fine.
I took the MJ to my daughters and plugged it in (without computer) and kept getting a message saying error 3002 or 2003 can't remember which one. It told me to check my internet connection and it was fine. I contacted MJ Chat support and chatted with #1 for about a half hour. He asked me a bunch of questions and I answered them. Blue Light ON, Red Light Flashing FAST, Green Blinking Slow. He gave me a link to go to (I think he was trying to get me in to my Router (Netgear WNR2000) I clicked the link and it froze up my iPhone. (I was chatting using my phone because no computer at my daughters).... So I lost connection.... Tried 2 more times and chatted but lost connection both times.
Anyway I brought the MJ home and hooked it up here at my house without the computer and it worked fine..
Does anyone here have a idea on what the first Chat Operator was trying to get me to do in the Router?
Any ideas on where I can look to get this thing to work at my daughters?
Thanks LeeB

It was likely he was going to ask you to add two port forwards to your daughter's router. Most modern routers are capable of port forwarding. If your daughter's router is very old, or her bandwidth is very slow, there may be problems that port forwarding can fix.
I created a video about this here:

About six minutes in, you can learn about port forwarding.
Your router will likely have a different interface but the concepts should be similar. Also lock the mac address of the router to a static IP so that your magicJack+ will always be assigned the same IP. It makes port forwarding that much more reliable.
Try bringing a laptop to your daughter's house to configure her router. Your router's web interface may work better from a laptop browser than a phone browser. (They probably didn't test it to work on a phone browser.)
