Ordering the magicJack plus 2014

I decided to order it. Since it's been more than 48 hours since I received my email, I learned that you can get a coupon link from the dialpad when the magicJack is connected via USB from the computer. So that's what I did.

I also made a video of my order so others could see what the ordering process is like and perhaps learn how to avoid some of the headaches.

Between all the caveats and upsells, I hope this helps someone.

Update: Device arrived this afternoon. Ordered on 2nd, shipped on the 3rd, received on the 5th of August.

Check for any voltages or reaction from USB abd SDIO ports and let us know

And you know, I am lucky, gosh darnit.

I can't tell any difference between the two. I'm doing an audio comparison soon.

It will be interesting to see if there is any advantage to the USB or SDIO ports.

And while they say there is supposed to be a firmware update by the end of this year, I'm guessing we may not see it until some time in 2014.
