Backfeeding issue

I am using my magicjack plus to backfeed my existing phone lines (have removed them from the incoming line). I get a dial tone at all my jacks and can make outgoing calls, but incoming calls just disconnect without even ringing. Any ideas? It is the same when it's plugged into a computer or straight into the router.
