can't get my magic jack to work with the Tek-Tone entry syst

I have never had a problem with magic jack in 4 years, but now since I moved to a building that has a Tek-Tone entry system, my phone and my internet works but I cannot get any rings from the lobby. It rings in the lobby but I do not receive it. Is there anything I can do or buy something cheap cause I can't keep going down letting my kids in.

Does the entry system actually dial a number or does it use some specialized internal wiring that assumes a traditional land line?

Ask some of your neighbors if they are using other VOIP systems or cell phones for entry requests.
Could be just substandard ring voltages on your MJ or the apt system
