Number Porting November 1st?

I've been using MagicJack for just a little over a week and am very happy with it. I had read on the MJ website that number porting would be available Nov 1st, 2010.

Well, I checked the website today and contacted tech support and found out that it is NOT available today after-all.

Here's what I learned:

Me: Wondering if the landline porting to MagicJack is available today as stated on the website? If so, how do you do it and what is the cost?

Yvonne: Unfortunately, we do not have any information yet at this time.

Yvonne: We are still waiting for more updates from our engineering team.

Me: Ok. thanks.

This doesn't surprise me as I read elsewhere on this forum that number porting has been promised for over 2 years and each time a date is announced, the feature is not employed. Very disappointing!!!
But, I still like the magicjack and am dumping my TimeWarner Cable & Phone service this week anyways.

But, just wish I could number port my landline to MJ!!
