my linksys Pap2 stopped working ! Please help!
My mom is helping us to watch my baby while we are at work, and the only way I could call her a daytime with magic Jack. I used a linksys Pap2 to operate MJ, because she is not to good with pc.. No it is stopped working, and I can't find any working software anymore to get a password, and id no. from Jack. Did they changed something? How can I get a proxy info? If this will not work I have to buy a Nettalk, and that device more expensive than MJ. Please help!

Magic Jack is going through Rotating Password, PAP2 is no longer working until further notice from the pros. If you just need to call your mom, get a gmail account if you don't already have one, and use the google voice to call her. Calling North America using Google Voice is free. Ofcourse this won't work for you mom calling you because she is not good with PC.
I think others has mentioned about Whistle Phone you can set up with your ATA for now, although most if not all your outgoing calls will require the caller to listen to a commercial ad before the call gets dialed through, but shouldn't be that much of a hassle for your mom.

I was able to read a MJ I got a new password. But I forgot how to open the router to change it.I got the ip with a xxxx110# , but I forgot how to connect the router to the pc to open it... Just plug the network cable? and dissable any other internet? I did this way, and put in a 192.168.1.105 what I got from a phone, but nothing. What I;m doing wrong?
