High CPU usage

Okay. So maybe I've looking for something to bitch about. But my new device is constantly making my CPU usage jump. Every 2 seconds or so it goes from 1 or 2 % up to 15 or 30 %. And this is without using the phone. The CPU meter in task manager looks like a freakin heart monitor.

I have narrowed it down to definitely being the MJ, and my prior gen device didn't have this kind of constant spiking activity.

I can't see any downside to this, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

From what I can tell that seems to happen quite frequently. In fact, after a reboot mine spikes to 100% until the first call is made. After that it settles down to the 5-10% range. I questioned all this quite awhile ago in this post but never got a reply -

I wouldn't mind if it settled down to 5-10. It is moving from 1 to 30 every 2 seconds or so. 1...15...2...24...1...21....2...31

Constantly. Never had a "program" do this. My prior device did settle down, not this one.

As a side note. When I have task manager open to processes, the line for magicjack.exe never goes above 5% in this idle state. But the total CPU usage at the bottom and on the performance tab keeps spiking. Stop MJ, and it all goes to 0 - 2 %
