Hello...this is my issue...I am unable to call from my AT&T LANDLINE phone to my magicjack.
This is what I can/cannot do:
Cell to MJ - can do
MJ to Cell - can do
MJ to Landline - can do
Landline to MJ - CAN NOT DO (I get message, "your call cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and try your call again")
Is there anything I can do? Please advise.
What amazes me is when your talking to MJ tech support, their troubleshooting steps are hilarious.

Re: AT&T Landline Issue
Ultimate resolution involves contacting ATT. Their database system is not recogniziing YMAX owned exchange that is newly added or obscure.popchips wrote:Hello...this is my issue...I am unable to call from my AT&T LANDLINE phone to my magicjack.

NOT a magicjack issue, as is obvious from your test results...

Go to ATT phone support.popchips wrote:Are there any other carriers with the same problem, Cell or Landline?
If this is addressed to AT&T, I wonder when they can incorporate the add in. I wouldn't even know who to even address it to.
The NPA-NXX was released in 2008.
There probably is a chat system.
You can always ask. They will tell you where you can get help if they cannot.
Although, who they tell you to contact may tell you to contact another dept. and so on.
I hate that. Which is why if they cannot solve my problem via chat, then I will either cancel or not worry about it.

At&T mobile to MJ not working
Since Last saturday, everytime I try to call the MJ number from my AT&T mobile it says "Please listen to this message carefully. your call has been directed incorrectly. It recoginzes it as a local number when it should in fact be an international number. Please call At&T or dial 3058488288, wait for a dial tone and then dial your MJ number."
I called At & T and they said a ticket has been issued, this problem will be resolved shortly. I call back on Monday night, problem still persists and this time AT&T says they don't have any complaints of this sort and they will have to look into this anad call me back.
Still waiting for their call. However calling the 305 848 8288 number and then dialling my MJ number works.
Anybody else facing a similar problem on any other carrier?
