I'm in Edmonton AB (780 area code). Telus is my internet provider.
I can call some numbers in the States and some numbers I can't. Same with local numbers. I can't call Telus (780 area code)! But I can call other numbers.
Now, what's weird is that it's the same with my google voice chat within gmail.
So, it's the same problem. With the same number, I either can or can't call it using either magicjack or google voice chat, either way. So the problem is probably not with magicjack or google right?

Correlates to McDonough Telephone Cooperative in Illinois, one of those small, rural telcos who are the bane of MJ's existence. I wouldn't hold my breath on this one, but considering its unreachable on GV, have you tried a regular pots line to call? Could be they are having a companywide outage. Maybe forgot to pay the light bill?
