Someone said and i missed it that the NT Duo only takes between 60-70 kbps. Well my answer to that is in what country is that , The NT Duo requires 125 kbps or greater. If yours is working with between 60 and 70 i'd ebay it for $5000.00 as a rare model!

Check your wireshark and identify what default codec they're employing. Their security implementation may incur some additional, initial http overhead but I doubt if that applies over the entire duration of the call.

I have MJ->MJ dumps that only incur ~35kbps, that is the expected value for this codec and why Ymax uses it for calls that never hit the PSTN.

I'd only offer a buck-299 for the 'rare' model

Did better then that, I was given the NT by the CEO of NT in Miami even though im 300 miles away. Had a chat with one of there engineers today in miami and he told me what the device consumes for at least 60% of the call. Also told him ( Manni ) was his name and he even told me how he spelled it. When i told him his server has a certain problem he almost shit because he knew of it and the public does'nt. He said how did u know and i said well i can't get into it. I don't want to get into it on here but u know what im talking about LMFAO. But they claim NT has 200,000 users so far but he stopped short chatting about there servers when i stuck my fist in his mouth to say. Anyway there quality of service is good but Ooma stills gives them a spanking and Ooma is around 100,000 users. When i got off the phone i had his head thinking, There tech support im not to sure of. I got this woman that did'nt know the difference between a resisitor or a can of beer and she was going to put in a ticket. I said ticket...She said YEAH...I said im not into lotto are u telling me you have to forward problems to enginners and they get back to u. B4 she could answer i said what levels of support do you have there i think level 3 or 4 is there guru dept and thats how i met him the rest were like no better then MJ support so i would call them human answering machines , As far as MJ" using Ymax etc and never hitting Public switched telephone networks only Dan the man can answer

Well they are in my state but one problem is that i never worked for anyone in this state and never would, Don't need the $ plus i retired at 46. Alot of ppl are breaking there ass or don't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of and are 10-20 yrs older, Life is what u make it, I did work over there in Seal Beach in CA but even that sucked. I'd still stick to Ooma as in equipment quality and sound none of them come close out of the 3 and im talking Ooma Telo not there hub etc.
