I've been using a Versalink Westell 327w modem for quite a few years, with verizon dsl.
Speedtest reports usually good condition for voip, but there are often times when the computer "sticks" for awhile,
and there's a minute or so wait before it gets going again. Also certain web sites can bog down the computer.
I have usually attibuted this to verizon, but perhaps the modem has something to do with this too.
Is the Versalink Westell 327s a good modem for Voip?
If another modem could be better, which one would you recommend?
Would this Actiontec GT724WGR be a good improvement, or should I stay with the Versalink?
My broadband use consists of Voip phone, web browsing, email, and youtube videos.
what are good modems for voip?
