I guess this is the appropriate place for this. I recently stumbled across magictalk. I've been a MJ user for a couple of years, running it on a thin client at home and until recently without a dongle on several laptops that I travel with. Of course running without a dongle is no longer possible so I checked out MT when I heard about it. It seems that it might do the trick but there seems to be a dearth of info about it. So some questions:
Is it possible to use it with an existing MJ ie sharing the phone # among several.
When going through the process of installing it it gave three options one a freebie with a voip number, one with a DID number specific to MT which I seem to remember was licensed for three machines and the third for essentially buying a MJ for the same price and having an unlimited license. The last option I would go for but there is no additional info as to how it would work. Anyone have info on this?
When looking around for info I found in several places suggestions that MT could also run on smartphones. Any thoughts?
