In voicemail I get to record:
my name
an unavailable message
a busy message
temporary greeting
So when is the unavailable message used vs the busy message?
What is a temporary greeting used for?
What is the recording of my name used for?

name gets played along with stock MJ voicemail message if it is set.
busy message is sent when your on the phone.
temporary if set replaces the MJ stock voicemail message.
unavailable message is played to caller when your MJ is offline

How do I get rid of or change the temporary greeting? My MJ answers with temp greeting and I can't get into VM. I press the "*" key and it never asks for password

Contact MJ online chat support and have them reset your VM. Then your password will be 1 2 3 4 after you hit the * key. You can then set your own outgoing message and change your password..
