So my majicjack stopped working on windows xp - the software just stopped coming up. Perhaps it was due to me adding/removing some 3rd party software but I'm not sure, I thought it was because this new thing "magictalk" is out now and the majicjack.com site redirected me to magictalk.com and so now "this" was the new magicjack app that I was being forced to upgrade to.
Not quite. I did get some good quick support in the technet chat and got the issue resolved after unplugging the mj, running mjRemover.exe and the Microsoft Fixit app, then reboot and plug the mj back in and it auto installed and works now. For reference, I put up a blog post here:
