It's a usb condenser mic that's about twice the size of a thumb drive. It' true plug and play, meaning there are no drivers to load or install. One nice surprise is that it accepts a 3.5 mm headset jack, so it works great for voip calls.
It's designed to clip on to the screen of your laptop. Alternatively, it will rest nicely on the desk.
I have tested it throughout the day with Skype and Google Talk. I've recorded a number of the calls for playback and I believe it's truly the best outgoing voice quality I've ever experienced.
At $65 from Best Buy, it's a little spendy but frankly, I was looking at condenser mics at twice that. I give it two thumbs up!
Did I mention the wife is out of town?
