I am new to the forum. I have a t5000 with 512mb ram and imbedded XP. I have been using a magicjack on it for a year with almost no problems. I just purchased magicfeatures and and trying to install it and have it stay on the system, without success.
I disable the write filter (lock symbol is red and unlocked) and install the software and registration code. The software works fine. When I commit the overlay and enable the write filter and the system reboots the software is not installed after the reboot. I have tried everything I can think of and cannot get this to work.
Any tips or ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Re: t5000 software problems
Have you tried simply installing with the write filter enabled (green) then doing a commit after the install?victorybike wrote:I am new to the forum. I have a t5000 with 512mb ram and imbedded XP. Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did and that did not work. I noticed when I commit the overlay the magicfeatures data from the Z drive is not written to the C drive, even though there is plenty of space.
I manually copied the folder from Z to C and rebooted. An error message appeared saying it could not locate "spevents.dll" However this file is in the magicfeatures folder I copied to the C drive.
Ideas? Thanks

I had the same problem and I thought when I copied the folder over to C: things worked fine. I discussed the issue at the time on the Magic Features forums. Stop by and read up or ask the question here -
