Multiple Jacks

Post by puterluver »

I have searched this forum to see if I can find this answer, but have not had any luck.

If I purchase one or two more magicjacks, can I register them with the same phone number I currently have for Number 1 Magic Jack?

I sometimes travel with my Laptop computer and have internet connections in the motel. Calling with the laptop will be an advantage.
It will have the phone numbers and information I need for the discussions.

No, you can only register 1 number to 1 mJ. You could get a Google Voice # and have it set up to ring your various mJs so that you don't miss a call. Or you could forward you main mJ # to another mJ you have when you are traveling.

Why would it be a problem for you to just take your current mJ with you when you are traveling?

I would prefer a different majicjack during my travels. It it gets lost, whoever finds it will have the different phone book listings.
