dial tone but wont dial

dial tone but wont dial
I just installed MJ and all worked as I thought it should but when I pick up the house phones they will not dial a number ML support told me that I may need a A/C powered hub as the puter is not charging the phone line as it should anyone had same problem or any answers what do I need to do.

Your internet connection setup (PC, router and/or ISP) may block VOIP/SIP ports used by MJ service. You could try to run VOIP test to verify that VOIP test call could be set up using port 5060. If the VOIP test retries different port (such as port 6000) then your internet connection setup is your blocking issue. Run the VOIP test from the PC where MJ device is installed:

Alternately, you could also bypass the router, connect the PC (where MJ device is installed) directly to the DSL/cable modem, then reboot the DSL/cable modem so that it could assign a new IP to your PC, then try the MJ call again to see if your router was blocking your MJ calls. If you determine your router was blocking your MJ call, then you could open up UDP ports 5060/5070 on the router.
