problems with parents calling

My parents live in a 765-981 number that can call 260 wabash numbers locally. However when they call my MJ number (260 wabash exchange) they get the message saying invalid code. They put the area code in they get the same...if they put the 1 in front it tells them that you do not have to use the 1 as it is local...any suggestions? I have forwarded this on to MJ engineers...however they do not know when it will be "fixed" and I only have 2 weeks on my 30 day trial left and they can't change that....even though there is a problem....because it is "system generated"....
