For the past 3 weeks I have contacted the MJ chat and have yet to resolve the problem. Like many others some incoming calls go directly to voice mail and some do not. Message is "customer is unavailable"
I also can only dial out on a few area codes eg: 612 or 480 but cannot dial out to eg: 320 and some others. They tell me this is a routing problem and the "engineers" are working on it. We have gone through various settings and 2 software updates. I read here that hardware problems may be the culprit as well ......where do I start to find the problem?

Re: dialing out
People are having issues appear, disappear and then re-appear again. Being able to call/receive calls with various cell carriers, being able to call into their MJ and other issues.snobird wrote:For the past 3 weeks I have contacted the MJ chat and have yet to resolve the problem. The educated guess from others is that they will be using the same infrastructure for MJPlus that they are for the regular MJ. They are supposedly going to have apps for cell/smart phones with the MJPlus.
My extremely uneducated guess, posted a while ago, is that some of these issues are being caused by them tinkering around with the new MJPlus on their system.
So, in my opinion, if your MJ was working fine for quite a while, and suddenly you are having major issues, I think you have 2 options. One is to wait it out and see if it corrects itself. The other is to bitch a few times to customer service and they will probably offer you a small refund of your remaining service. Not pleasant options, but other than that I think you are SOL.
On the other hand, those that are still in the first 30 days of service, should probably consider getting a full refund asap.

Hopefully you bought it from a WalMart or other retailer. Makes it so much easier to return. If so I would be tempted to just get my money back and go to a different retailer to replace it (if you're so inclined to replace it). It might be possible that a certain batch of them were bad and the bad ones aren't at BestBuy, or wherever. Keeping your old number can be tricky, so if you want to keep it, I would do it through Customer Service, one of the few things they can be good for.snobird wrote:sounds like a plan......this is a new unit recently installed. Strangely enough I have installed 2 other units in the last 2 years with no problems
