A friend tries to reach my MJ phone number (he has Verizon cell and land line) and gets a message that "the number is not a working number". Yet I get calls from other Verizon users, as well as other providers. He has the correct phone number to reach me, and we talk every few months. He has not been able to reach me since the number ported over.
So far, I have spent about an hour with Verizon (I ported my number from them, and they basically say it's a MJ problem not a Verizon one) and about 5 hours with MJ online support.
My account was refreshed, The Firewall was tweaked, and updates were applied, but still that person cannot get through to me. As far as I know, no one else has had this issue trying to reach me. I do not know another MJ customer that they could try to call to see if the call goes through or not.
Has anyone encountered this issue? What else could or should I try?

Unfortunately NO! The person can reach me on my cellphone. It is still a mystery. In a way I'm glad someone else has encountered the issue, just to realize it is not me or my pc or my cordless phones. Yet I'm sorry to hear that you were also unable to have someone reach you. Have you gone through similar hoops with your caller's phone company trying to resolve the issue?

MJ said they are looking into it, but i doubt they will do anyhting from reading other peoples posts about MJ tech service. I did sign up to google voice and it will work if the uscellular phone calls the google voice number. That doesnt make any sense why it works cause all the google voice thing is doing is transferring the number to the MJ number. Oh well this works and it is free.
