My mJ Expired: Renewal?

Post by Bartholomew Diogenes »

Bought it Oct. 1 from a store but didn't connect and use the service until Oct. 18 when my existing service ran out so I think that should be the operative date. Later then, those who read my first posts know I had mJ problems due to interference from the pending closure of my CenturyLink isp service. I'm ok with mJ; the problem: it's all I have really. Tip: put battery in your laptop so you won't lose phone service during power outages or get screwed with resets for any power flickers off. Your battery will kck in; unfortunately, your laptop will be a pound heavier on your lap. Don't know how readily one can install and remove battery. Any ideas on mJ renewal? Respond asap since I must have restoration of phone service asap.

After holding on for 20 min. at 281-404-1551 a foreign female jerk named Raine hung up on me, at least was no longer there, before I got all my questions answered. I went ahead and renewed, but the price was 20.91, not 19.95. Nothing has happened as far as the service - it's still off, but I never lost receiving calls. As for your lack of response I grow increasingly dissatisfied with these specialty sites in which people appear to have lost interest in deference to monopolies like Facebook.

This "specialty site" is more helpful and has more collective knowledge accumulated than anything MagicJack or other forum has to offer. People would answer if you had a sensible question. You stated Oct 1 - Oct 18 and you needed to renew. Really? 18 days of service and that's it? What don't we understand. MJs need to be renewed every year, not every 18 days.

You got hung up on? Heh - No wonder. Reading just a few posts in these forums would tell you MJ does all support through on-line chat.

BTW - I think most people keep a battery in their laptops. That's kinda what a laptop is all about. If not, why not be using a desktop? Many of us with thin clients run a UPS which can allow hours of talk time in a power outage.
