Router Clock settings

Is anyone having a problem with their magic plus when plugged into the router? When I use the MJ plus with my router the clock setting get reset to 12am January 01/2001 ... I have spent several hours on chat & have had my router ports forward, upgraded, unplugged it a dozen times ... ect .. Nobody seems to have a solution ??? Is this a known issue with MJ plus Or is their an easy fix .. I have tried my MJ plus on 3 different routers .. & still have the same issue ... Any input would be great ... THANKS !!

It's a known issue, they are supposedly working on a fix/update

unplugging the USB power at midnight for 5 seconds will set the time but the date will still be wrong.
