My company as well as many others promote just one phone line (the first line) but have many phone lines coming into our facility. Only when the first line is in use a new call to that phone number will automatically transfer to the next designated phone line (this is called "line trunking") so the new call can be answered by a different employee (and so-on for each additional line). Does the Magicjack system (using multiple Magicjack lines) have this automatic "transfer when busy" capability?

No. I don't think you can accurately describe MagicJack as a "system" per se, except for perhaps a personal communication system. It is not a highly sophisticated device, just a cheap phone call. Except for "road warrior" type applications, It would not be suitable for business use.

key system
I have MJ on a Key system line 4. line 1,2,3 are verizon. Line 4 is simple a backup or break line. Workers use this line for whatever. If the POts goes down the MJ line supplies a convenent Backup.
All craigslist listings are sent to GC and then calls are returned MJ. All of them calls are toll calls. MJ is a big help on the Craigslist listings.
We used Skype but noone would answer the calls cause the call id was 000123456. With MJ they do answer 50% of the calls. Otherwise I leave a message with the store # and they call back direct there dime.
I have been using 2 MJ's on same network and it is up 80%+. I have to reboot old sony machine every 2-3 days to keep MJ happy. No big deal.
MJ great for adding lines and calling out so the store business call id is not displayed. Sometimes that is needed. All in all I like it.
It is not perfect but what is!

Hunting lines
I too have this issue, but just 2 lines. One is published number, the second line is "hunted" when the first line is busy and an incoming call comes in.
I discussed it with MagicJack tech people and they say the answer is to set up 'call-forwarding-when-busy' on the primary line. You can do this for a small fee.
I wouldn't personally do away with all my traditoanl phone lines at this point. MJ works OK and we use it for all outgoing calls (the ones that cost money) with the backup of redialling on the "phone" line if the MJ line quality is poor. Also, use an MJ on our fax line since fax machines redial automatically if the line quality isn't good enough.
