That's because there isn't one there.

It should appear on your computer when you initially plug the device in. And yes, you don't need a computer to run the new Plus, but you do need one to register it.

If when playing around with my regular MJ I have to re-install it, the soft-phone sometimes doesn't pop up. On those occasions, I go into my files and look for the drive it is sitting on. In there, for the regular MJ, are 2 autorun files. I click on the larger one, and soon all is well in magicJack land. So if you aren't getting a registration screen on inserting your device, I would look for an autorun file.
