Using MJ software when MJ+ is plugged in router?

I've been a MJ user for almost 2 years and when I first installed it, I didn't really like the software... but now I've grown used to it and like the features. I especially like:

- double clicking on my contact or phone number in the call list to make a call
- being able to switch to headset for longer calls
- being able to dial from my computer keyboard instead of my phone.

Anyway, I just ordered the new MJ+ at 50% off because I don't keep my computer on all the time, so I thought it would be cool to be able to use the phone even when the computer is off. However, will I still be able to use the software on my computer when it is on? (without having to unplug the mJ and plug it in my computer every time I turn the computer on or off?)

Hopefully the software can communicate with the MJ+ through the router?

Hmmm, damn. Not even possible by using the old Magicjack somehow?

The old mJ will bring up its own soft phone, so if its subscription is alive, use it when the computer is on, and the mJ+ when the computer is off.
